For example, efficient water and nutrient management is becoming increasingly important in agricultural technology. By cleverly networking a wide variety of data, farmers can irrigate and fertilize their fields with precision and foresight. This requires connectors that not only work reliably under harsh environmental conditions, but are also maximally flexible so that they can be used in a wide variety of installation situations.
CONEC has expanded its valve connector program with overmolded connectors in 90 ° angled design with single as well as double cable outlet. Four different directions of the 90 ° cable outlet are offered.
The Versions with double outlet are mostly used as Y-distributors for the distribution of signals and power, with variable cable lengths and the possibility to assemble different connectors at the cable ends according to customer requirements. Daisy chain applications with multiple cascaded connectors, e.g. to control valves via a CAN bus, can also be implemented here. The option of distributing the signals and power in the connector to two additional ones, offers possibilities for making systems more compact and thus for saving installation space.
On request, in addition to the standard items with open end cable, a wide range of connecting cables are possible.
The angled version of the overmoulded connector is offered with a PUR cable and a stranded cross-section of 0.75 mm² with a cable length of 1 m.
This angled version is currently implemented for the 2-, 4- and 6-pos. versions DT06 (socket contact version). Other lengths, cross-sections, cable qualities and individual connection options are available on request.
Like the previous versions of the overmoulded DT connector series, the angled versions meet protection class IP67 / IP69K in mated condition.
